
Mary Henley PhD
Principal Consultant
Mary joined Flow from RNID, where she was responsible for user research and evaluation on projects in the Technology Directorate. Her key projects there concerned animated sign language, voice and text telephony products and speech recognition technology to generate lip-readable animation of faces.
Since joining Flow, Mary has worked with a wide range of clients including Canon, Nokia, Vodafone, Microsoft, TDA, The British Council, Expedia, Royal Mail and Yell. While she is a research specialist, she has experience in all aspects of the user-centred design process. She has been working in UX for over seven years.
Mary's background is in psychology and she has a PhD in human-computer interaction. She has published several international conference papers and a book chapter.
